Creating Innovative Designs for Global Nonprofit Organizations.

I’m an experienced web, graphic designer and multimedia creative artist with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for social impact.

Hoclay Mganga

Born and raised in East Africa, Tanzania – Dar es Salaam, I grew up in a household headed by my single mother, along with my seven siblings. In 2013, I made the significant move to New York, USA, to continue my journey in the creative world.

Creativity has been my passion since childhood. I have fond memories of crafting our own toys, whether they were cars, trucks, or scooters. After school, we would search for Chibuku empty half-gallon containers, a famous traditional beer, and recycle them to create our makeshift vehicles, be it trucks, cars, or even airplanes. Once our creations were ready, we would take them to the streets for impromptu soccer matches. These matches often lasted until dusk or until the owner of the soccer ball grew tired, signaling the end of the game. Every time I returned home and saw the vehicles I had crafted, a sense of accomplishment and joy washed over me. This early experience is what ignited my passion for the multimedia creative industry.

A creative who believes in the power of design to change the world.
